Formed in 2013 inside Levon Helm’s famed Woodstock barn, The Weight Band draws inspiration from some of Woodstock’s most iconic musicians, including The Band. Led by renowned guitarist Jim Weider, the band features acclaimed keyboardist Brian Mitchell, prolific bassist Albert Rogers, drummer Michael Bram, and keyboardist Matt Zeiner. Together, they create a unique blend of Roadhouse Rock, Funky Swamp Pop, Blues, Country Soul, and Folk music that captures the essence of the “Woodstock Sound.”
