Step onto the ice and discover the exhilarating world of curling at our Learn to Curl Open House! Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or simply curious about this captivating sport that has enchanted audiences worldwide. Our sessions are designed for all skill levels.
Join us at the Plymouth State University Ice Arena for two engaging Learn to Curl sessions. This event is taking place on Sundays, March 5th and 10th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Led by experienced instructors, these two-hour sessions will introduce you to the basics of curling in a supportive and welcoming environment.
No prior experience is necessary, and we provide all the equipment you need free of charge. Curling isn’t just a sport – it’s a social activity that promotes teamwork, strategy, and camaraderie both on and off the ice.
During the session, you’ll learn essential techniques such as proper stone delivery, sweeping methods, team positions, as well as the rules, strategies, and scoring of the game.
What to Bring: Dress warmly in comfortable layers and don’t forget to bring a clean pair of rubber-soled athletic shoes. Carrying in your shoes helps us maintain the cleanliness of the ice surface and ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
