Explore the beauty of nature with NH Audubon at the Merrimack River Outdoor Education and Conservation Area in Concord, NH!

Location: Merrimack River Outdoor Education & Conservation Area, 2-82 Portsmouth Street, Concord, NH 03103

Join us for an enriching birding outing along the scenic trails of the Merrimack River Outdoor Education and Conservation Area. Led by Devin Guilfoyle, Newfound Center Coordinator, this informal outing welcomes birders of all ages and skill levels.

Whether you’re new to birding and eager to learn the basics or an experienced birder looking to share your expertise, this event offers a welcoming environment for all. Binocular rental is included with registration, allowing you to observe a diverse array of bird species in their natural habitat.

This walk is made possible by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. We are grateful for their support in preserving this natural treasure. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Please wear sturdy shoes, and expect to walk between 1-2 miles over mostly flat, yet uneven, trails through grassy and wooded terrain. Note that trails may become soggy or muddy during the rainy season.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with nature, learn about local bird species, and enjoy a refreshing outdoor experience in the heart of Concord. Reserve your spot today and embark on a memorable birding adventure with NH Audubon!
