Rules:

NSGA Qualification Requirements (in qualifying years):
- Winners at NHSG qualifying games will qualify for the following year’s National Senior Games.
- Athletes must qualify in each Shuffleboard event (singles, doubles) in which they wish to compete at the National Senior Games, except when Rule E applies.
NHSG Entry Requirements (in any year):
- Competitors must be at least 50 years old by the end of this calendar year.
- The age division of a partner event will be determined by the younger age of both partners by the end of this calendar year.
- Athletes may compete with only one partner per event. Doubles teams may be of mixed gender (open doubles).
- Partners will not be assigned by the New Hampshire Senior Games. Athletes must provide their own partner to participate in any partner sport.

Stride Strong: NH Senior Games Power Walk 1500M
Join us for the NH Senior Games Power Walk 1500M event, where participants can showcase their speed and endurance in a thrilling race. Hosted at Memorial High School in Manchester, New Hampshire, this event promises excitement and friendly competition for athletes aged 35 and above.

Format:
- The course and format for the 1500M Power Walk will be determined by the Meet Director and will be contested during the Track and Field events.
- The circuit for the 1500m Power Walk will be on a standard 400-meter track.
- Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers within each age division.

- Qualifiers will be determined by 18-hole gross score played on a course with a minimum par of 70 and a USGA slope rating.
- Handicap scores are not acceptable for qualifying.
- NHSG Entry Requirements:
- Competitors must be at least 50 years by the end of this calendar year.
- Entry fee includes 1/2 cart, greens fee, gift bag, luncheon, award, and range balls.
- Golfers may bring their own clubs, and the pro shop may have clubs available for rent at the golfer’s expense.

- Championship will be single elimination, with seeding based on scores in the first four games. Teams that win will play up to 6 games total.
- Match play should be completed in around 2 to 3 hours.
- All for fun: In qualifying years, teams and individuals will attempt to be matched against similarly skilled teams in the early games.
