In 1967, we started as a 100-bed, family-owned center. From that one center blossomed into four tastefully appointed centers, with some 300 residents, where fine living and world-class care converge.
Our model is what is now referred to as a “revolutionary” approach to senior living – only this revolutionary approach has been employed in our company since opening our doors over 40 years ago! Within each Courville Community, you will find a team that is dedicated to continuously meet the changing needs of our residents through professional care with a personal touch. We involve the residents and their families in the plan of care so that healthcare, physical, and emotional needs are met for each resident.
As the needs of the senior community have changed, so has The Courville Communities. We understand the advances in healthcare have allowed individuals to live longer and stay at home longer. We have built our success on being the place for families to turn to when it’s time to consider alternative options for a healthier, safer, and less-isolated living arrangement. With two dedicated assisted living centers and two long-term care centers that also provide two of the area’s finest short-term rehabilitative services, we are a company that takes pride in being able to meet the various needs of the members of our community. Individuals and families can turn to The Courville Communities for all stages of senior living, and be assured that they or their loved one is receiving the care they need.
At each center, members of our trained medical staff are on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A medical director, dietitian, nursing staff and administrative support can easily be reached and are on-call to provide comprehensive care to residents as well as the support their families appreciate while separated from their loved one. Longevity is a word often used to describe members of a Courville Community team. We invest in our staff just as we invest in our residents—by providing a working environment that allows them to focus on their job. Staff members stay current with healthcare trends and complete required annual training in infection control, emergency preparedness, food safety, residents’ rights and confidentiality (HIPPA). All employees pass a criminal background check prior to employment. All nursing staff are licensed and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
As you can see, Courville Communities really is “Where Better Living Begins!”
