Shuffleboard Showdown: NH Senior Games

Get ready to shuffle and slide at the NH Senior Games Shuffleboard Tournament! Competitors of all skill levels are invited to showcase their talents in singles and open doubles events. Join us for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie.

Registration:

• Fee: $35
• Registration Deadline: July 18th, 2024
• Same-day registration allowed, cash or check only.
• Register by contacting Sports Coordinator Larry Flint via phone or email.

Event Schedule:

• Check-In: 8:00 am
• Start Time: 8:30 am
• Practice Time: Before competition starts and prior to each match.

Event Format:

• The format will be determined by the number of competitors in each bracket.
• Adaptive Sport: Disabled athletes are welcome.

• Singles
• Open Doubles (permits mixed-gender teams – male, female, and mixed teams all compete together in this event)

Rules:

• All matches will be conducted following the rules of the National Shuffleboard Association (NSA). Click here for rules.
• NSA rules apply unless superseded by NSGA Rules.

NSGA Qualification Requirements (in qualifying years):

• Winners at NHSG qualifying games will qualify for the following year’s National Senior Games.
• Athletes must qualify in each Shuffleboard event (singles, doubles) in which they wish to compete at the National Senior Games, except when Rule E applies.

NHSG Entry Requirements (in any year):

• Competitors must be at least 50 years old by the end of this calendar year.
• The age division of a partner event will be determined by the younger age of both partners by the end of this calendar year.
• Athletes may compete with only one partner per event. Doubles teams may be of mixed gender (open doubles).
• Partners will not be assigned by the New Hampshire Senior Games. Athletes must provide their own partner to participate in any partner sport.
