Our interactive sessions offer hands-on participation at every stage of the process, guided by experienced environmental educators.

Learn to identify trees, understand their anatomy and functions, and utilize measuring tools to select the perfect tree for tapping. Explore the evolution of maple sugaring, delving into Native American folklore and the scientific intricacies of the boiling process. Experience both historical and modern tapping techniques, gaining insight into the cultural and technological heritage of syrup production.

Embark on a picturesque 20-minute hike to our Sugar House, nestled amidst scenic landscapes, and indulge in the sensory delights of maple syrup creation. Please come prepared with sturdy boots and weather-appropriate attire, as the program includes outdoor exploration. Complimentary snowshoes or traction cleats will be available for use, ensuring a comfortable journey for all participants.
