Exploring NH Trails: Hikers Club – Bald Knob via Turtleback Mountain Trail

Location:

• Meet at the Picnic Pavilions by Shannon Pond
• Hiker parking available at the top of Ossipee Park Road, past Maple Lodge
• Unpaved parking areas across from the pond and Café in the Clouds

Overview: Led by experienced volunteer hikers, the Hikers Club invites you to an exciting trek to Bald Knob via the Cut Mountain Trail. This moderate to difficult level hike spans approximately 4 miles and features an elevation climb of 1,154 feet. Registration is free but mandatory.

Preparation Tips:

• Wear suitable footwear for hiking
• Dress according to the weather conditions
• Bring sunscreen, bug spray, and snacks for the journey
• Sign a waiver upon arrival

Note: Dogs on leashes are typically allowed on trails but are not permitted during this program to ensure the comfort of all attendees.

Event Details:

• Free admission, but pre-registration is required
• Registration closes at midnight the day before the hike
