As an independent nonprofit community, we can quickly adjust our practices to serve our community members better and respond to residents’ needs on a case-by-case basis.

The goal of our community is to enrich the lives of seniors and enable them to live with freedom and flexibility, and each member of our staff takes that mission to heart. Our specially trained nursing staff works to maintain both the physical well-being and the happiness and comfort of each resident.

Part of this work is done through providing the necessary care and clinical support a resident may require, but the most meaningful work is done through building compassionate relationships with every member of our community.
Healthcare Services that Flex and Adapt

Our nursing staff provides customized support to meet residents’ daily health needs, including medication management and mobility assistance. All services are delivered by specially trained staff members who prioritize individualized support with the highest quality medical care. We’re able to adapt to various levels of need, from minimal to end-of-life care.

Memory Care

Our supportive community strives to maintain independence and ease stress. For our residents experiencing cognitive impairment, we believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach. By creating a place of safety and security, we strive to give each of our residents an individualized sense of purpose and comfort.

For that reason, we strive to inspire comfort and trust through a nurturing environment with attentive, loving, and qualified support. Because we prioritize a personalized approach to memory care, our staff is able to satisfy our memory care residents’ needs and adapt to their reality to help ease stress.

Using the latest advances in memory care—such as Habilitation Therapy and Sensory Therapy—our specially trained staff members support each individual in achieving moments of success, maintaining dignity, and promoting a sense of self-worth.
An Adaptive Environment

It’s important for a memory care community to be adaptive to its residents. Some residents benefit most from a structured, secure environment. For others, the opposite is true; a flexible approach is best. We help a resident shape his or her day into an experience that is comforting, familiar, and relaxed.

For those who would benefit from the security of a more structured environment, the Wentworth Senior Living memory care program offers a specially designed living space with comfortable bedrooms and added support from staff. In our memory care living space, residents receive the quality support to help bring happiness and purpose to their day.

Secure living and dining areas are specifically designed to help these residents move safely and comfortably through their day. Support includes assistance with daily tasks, such as dressing, bathing, eating, using the bathroom, and moving around. Meals are served family-style, which allows residents to participate more actively in the meal. While private rooms are available, shared rooms provide the option for companionship, which can keep loneliness and disorientation at bay.

Assisted Living

Our community is able to accommodate a wide range of assistance for our residents. We take a personalized approach that empowers residents to live their lives to their full potential.
A Comfortable and Secure Environment

Our living spaces include private one-bedroom or studio apartments. Each apartment includes amenities such as a tea kitchen, full bath with accessible shower, and intercom communication/alert system. Wall-to-wall carpeting in a neutral color, privacy window blinds, central air, and basic cable television are standard features which, together with your personal furnishings and decorative touches, make the space a true home.

All of our living spaces include the cost of housekeeping and laundry services, three meals each day in the dining rooms, and access to enrichment programs and transportation.

Communal spaces around the building provide myriad options for hosting family, socializing with friends, and enjoying activities.
Our Approach

Our specially trained support staff is able to adapt to the needs of each resident. Some residents may only need slight assistance with daily activities, such as dressing, bathing, or medications, while others may need staff support for mobility and transfers, nurse intervention for managing complex medical conditions, incontinence care, and supervision of palliative or hospice services. Whatever the particular case, our community is able to adapt to your needs and provide you with the assistance that will help you live a comfortable and happy life.
