Lake Winnipesaukee Day

Last year’s inaugural Lake Winnipesaukee Day on August 11, 2023, was a resounding success. Inspired by the M/S Mount Washington’s 150th Anniversary, the event featured an outdoor dance party, a lively beer garden, and New England’s first outdoor laser show. This celebration of Lake Winnipesaukee’s splendor attracted thousands, showcasing the lake’s significance and beauty.

Bigger and Better: Lake Winnipesaukee Day 2024

For 2024, the festivities are set to be even grander. The highlight of the evening will again be the spectacular laser show, a unique alternative to traditional fireworks, designed to protect the lake’s pristine waters from pollutants. “This event celebrates not only the lake but also the rivers, streams, and mountains that make New Hampshire special,” said Brian Deshaies, Wolfeboro Selectman Representative on the Wolfeboro Economic Committee.

What’s New This Year

• M/S Mount Washington: Enjoy three decks of live music, cocktails, and delicious food with stunning lake views. The boat offers a perfect vantage point for the laser show.
• Entertainment on Land: If the ship isn’t your scene, there’s plenty of fun on the docks. A DJ will keep the energy high, while local vendors and food trucks offer a variety of treats and crafts.
• Event Schedule: The celebration kicks off at 5 PM, with the laser light show lighting up the sky from 9 to 10 PM. Don’t miss out on this breathtaking display of lights and colors.
