The Colonnades is located in Charlottesville, Virginia on 59 picturesque acres in the eastern foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. It is just minutes from the University of Virginia, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, James Madison's Ashlawn, the 250-Bypass, Highway 64, and Route 29. Colonial Williamsburg, the Carolinas, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. are within close driving distance, and we are also closely situated to the Historic Downtown Mall, Barracks Road Shopping Center, hospitals and medical centers, and golf courses.
We offer independent living, assisted living, and Alzheimer's care senior housing options, and pride ourselves in our bright, airy and spacious cottages - each with a covered porch, a full kitchen, a garage and backyard with room for a private garden. We also offer our apartment residences in the main pavilion, where residents can meet and mingle in the restaurant-style dining room, cocktail lounge, living room, community rooms, craft center, library, or heated swimming pool.
