Good Day,and thanks for your reply(email) my husband is 60 and i am 63 (with not enough quarters to qualify) when can i get ss based on his work history ???

Dear Karen:
You can file for Medicare when you are 65. If your husband hasn't filed for benefits by that time, then you will get benefits when he gets benefits. You can have Medicare under his Social Security number, but he needs to collect for you to get benefits.....Carol
