Will I be able to take my mother's signed social security check and deposit it in my checking account? I had to close her savings account at the bank.

Dear Joan: I don't see any reason why the bank would not put it in your account. If she cashed it and then put the cash in the account it would be ok. If you signed the back, then there would be a problem......Carol
