Social Security Question:
does ssd pay change from state to state
Social Security Answer:
i live in mo, and have ssd due to bipolar disease, if i move to florida will my check stay the same or does the pay differ in each state?

If you are getting SSDI, then the rate is the same in all states. If you receive SSI, there is a difference from State to State because welfare in involved with SSI in some states. I would call the new state and ask if your benefits would stay the same.
