Will I still get the $250.00 stimulus check I'm suppose to get if I owe taxes to IRS? I didn't know I had to pay taxes on my social security benefits I've been receiving. I just discovered that I do because I file jointly with husband and income is over $32,000. We are going to make scheduled payments to the IRS and have already sent one payment to them. I received a notice about 1 or 2 months ago saying I would be receiving the $250.00 deposited to my checking account electronically. I would appreciate and answer asap. Thank you very much.

Dear Mildred: I don't know if IRS can hold that check from you or not. I would call the IRS and ask them. SS should not have sent you the letter saying you would get the $250 unless you were, in fact, getting it......Carol
