Answer:
Disability ends at 65. You should call Elderly Services for the State
and tell them your Gmother is being abused. You must speak for her.
They will check out the situation and get her into a more suitable living situation. As far as SS goes, you should get her Social Security number and also get the dob and name of any husbands she had. She could be due benefits from one of them. Also ask SS about SSI Aged which pays a benefit to needs-based elderly over 65. she also might need a guardian. Talk to SS about being her Payee.
