Social Security Answer:
I am having problems finding employment. I found a part time job, I only work one day a week. I am worried that after drawing it for one year I am going to get cut. How long can I draw?

What are your drawing? Retirement or Disability? If you are on retirement, you can make $14160. if you are on Disability, you can work and make what you want for 9 months, but you must let Social Security know so they can make sure that you don't go over $900 a month after the 9 months are over.......Carol

Will they cut off my benifits if I can't find work?

I get SSI, and I can't make over 695 a month. I can't even make that because I am having a hard time finding work. Is there a limited amount of time I can draw?

You still didn't answer me about retirement or disability. If it is disability, nothing will happen to your benefits if you don't work and make over $960 a month or have a re-exam that shows that you are recovered from your disability. Social Security can tell you when you are scheduled to have a re-exam, but the agency is very late on doing them
