I applied for a new SSN because i already have my work permit. Since 4weeks i never receive it.

Dear Louis: Are you applying for a new number because you never had one? If you have, the number is probably on the system and you didn't get the card yet. You need to call your local office or the toll free number at 1-800-772-1213 and see when your application was put in the system. It should come 10 days after that date. If it has been over that, call the office that you did the application with and ask them what address they sent it to, if it is correct, then ask them to reimput the application for you. If you are not a US citizen, then the whole process could take longer..... Carol
