MY MOTHER DIED WHEN I WAS 4 AND I NEVER RECEIVED ANY BENEFITS THROUGH OUT THE YEARS. AM I ABLE TO COLLECT ANY SSI BENEFITS

SSI is a needs based disability program. It would have nothing to do with your mothers death. Your father should have applied for child's benefits for you when your mother died. But if she didn't work and pay FICA taxes, she wouldn't have any benefits to give you......Carol
