The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) may provide long-term care for service-related disabilities or for certain eligible veterans. There might be a waiting list for VA nursing homes. The VA also provides some at-home care. Listed below are some opportunities and requirements/limits for veterans' benefits:

If you are a veteran, you might be able to get help paying for your long-term care needs. You must be eligible for VA benefits and can only receive care in VA facilities.
The VA provides care in VA nursing homes and some at-home care. There might be a waiting list for VA nursing homes.
