Community Description

The Illinois Veterans Home at Quincy provides quality care to nearly 550 veterans and their spouses in domiciliary, intermediate and skilled nursing care. We also provide care for those who suffer from alzheimer disease and dementia.

Our services are provided in 8 different nursing care units. Numerous recreation and restorative services are provided.

We serve those men and women who served in the U. S. Armed Forces...those who gave much yesterday so that we may enjoy freedom today.

Charges to live at the Home are based on income, not on the resident's assets. The maintenance charge is 90% of the total monthly income after the first $100.00 is deducted. The maximum charge is $929.00 per month. Veterans and spouses living at the Home will each pay maintenance charges based upon on their combined income. Each is entitled to the $100.00 exclusion. Inability to contribute to the cost of care does not prevent admission to the Home.
