Hospice Family Care, Inc. was founded on the belief that all individuals deserve the right to receive intensive care and support in the final phase of life; that this should not be overshadowed by so many restrictions that ultimately prevent those who need help from accessing that help.
Our co-founders, Nancy Smith and Nancy Turner brought a combined 14 years of hospice experience with them, spanning the years from 1983 when the Medicare Hospice Benefit became part of Medicare Part A, to 1992 when Hospice Family Care was born. Our organization continues to be privately owned by these two RN's and their mission and passion have never wavered - to champion for the rights of the terminally ill.
