Welcome to Harding Place Retirement Community, exceptional retirement living where residents retire from work, not life. Harding Place offers a lifestyle that promotes and maintains your independence and freedom.
One element of freedom is the ability to rent month-to-month. There is no endowment or expensive buy-in, so our residents have the opportunity to invest their hard-earned savings and maintain control of their finances. The affordable monthly rental fee is all-inclusive.
Searcy, Arkansas is located within easy driving distance of Little Rock. Harding Place Retirement Community is uniquely positioned on the campus of Harding University. All Harding University events are ours to enjoy with our exclusive Lyceum Card to use free of charge when you become a Harding Place resident.
Harding Place has 115 Independent Living apartments with four unique floor plans from which to choose. They are designed to maximize your personal space – each with an affordable all-inclusive monthly fee.
SERVICES & AMENITIES
Housekeeping
Harding Place's own housekeeping staff provides superior attention to detail while meeting your maid and laundry needs. Linens are laundered and returned weekly while your apartment is cleaned by a staff that takes pride in their work.
Beauty Shop
Enjoy the in-house beauty shop at Harding Place. Our beauty shop provides professional hair stylists and beauty technicians to meet any of our residents' beauty needs.
Transportation
On-campus activities are always well-balanced with community-based programs. With our private transportation staff, we make regular trips to area shopping centers, art and cultural events, restaurants and other entertaining destinations. If you have personal plans for the day, but want to leave the driving to someone else, we’ll provide door-to-door transportation for doctor’s appointments, banking, or whatever you want to do.

At Harding Place, your calendar can be as full as you desire. Our activities program, led by a full-time Activities Director, is complete with exciting events and unique programs. Even the weekends are packed with opportunities for learning and excitement. You can play cards with your friends or work on a project in the activities room. Settle in with a good book in the library or join a group on a trip to local shopping. We have a darkroom for amateur photographers and even a computer lab for those who enjoy playing computer games or emailing friends.
This unique community also offers many spacious lounge and television areas where you can enjoy a movie, sports or the latest new DVD release from our own media library. Be as busy as you would like or enjoy some time alone in a lovely setting. Both lifestyles are yours to enjoy at Harding Place.
