At Foss, we believe dignity is about celebrating the gifts aging brings: wisdom, humor and perspective. It?s about providing support services that enhance independence and health. And above all, it?s about enriching life.
Since 1929, Foss has served the Puget Sound area as a non-profit nursing home affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In 2004, we celebrated 75 years of living with dignity.
While monthly calendars are prepared for this unit, the activities coordinator has a more relaxed approach tailored for this population. They also enjoy seasonal celebrations and monthly special events (such as a Folk Voice Duo).
The mission of the Foss Dietary Services department is to consistently provide meals, snacks and nourishments, which meet each resident's individual nutritional and food preference needs. We have particular pride in our use of quality and fresh ingredients.
