Community Description

This residential-style retirement community was created in 1987. It’s mission--to provide a supportive, retirement lifestyle for senior adults, respectful of their independence.

The spacious one and two bedroom garden homes include: attached carports, full kitchens with all-electric appliances, storage and utility rooms with washer/dryer hook ups, emergency response systems, walk-in closets, smoke detectors, and individual temperature controls.

The single level patio homes are complimented by a community building and indoor heated swimming pool and spa. Water aerobics, Bible studies, game nights, movies, bridge, and community event outings are just some of the robust activities calendar highlights.

Soon a change in health will not mean a change of address. Baptist Village- Northeast Phoenix is building three innovative assisted living GREEN HOUSE® homes. These assisted living homes will provide up to ten elders with lifestyle assistance such as medication management. Home-cooked meals are shared around a large family style dining room table. The green house environment is designed to virtually eliminate the three most prevalent plagues of old age: loneliness, helplessness, and boredom. The Baptist Village- Northeast Phoenix green houses are scheduled to open late 2008.

Baptist Village is locally owned and operated by Arizona Baptist Retirement Centers, Inc., an Arizona non-profit organization providing faith-based communities for seniors.
